Physical Therapy Evaluation and Follow-Up
The initial evaluation is designed to provide a comprehensive assessment of a patient’s musculoskeletal and functional health. This multifaceted approach combines various evaluation techniques to ascertain not only the physical impairments but also the social, emotional, and environmental factors that contribute to a patient's overall health and well-being and interaction of the nervous systems involvement.
Subsequent appointments focus on the implementation of this individualized treatment plan. Progress is routinely monitored, and adjustments to the treatment plan are made based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback and communication with your primary care or referral source as needed.
Wellness and Fitness Sessions
Physical therapy wellness sessions are designed to enhance overall well-being, integrating therapeutic techniques with preventive care. These sessions focus on bridging the gap between formal rehab and performance. Aimed at improving functionality, reducing stress, and fostering resilience against injury through personalized treatment plans for non medically necessary concerns. This may include guided exercises, manual therapy, education on body mechanics, and lifestyle modifications for non medically necessary concerns.
These wellness sessions promote not only recovery from injury but also the development of strength, flexibility, and endurance. Clients are encouraged to embrace a holistic approach, addressing both physical and mental aspects of health.
Sports Performance and Recovery Session
A sports performance session with a physical therapist begins with a comprehensive assessment of the athlete's movement patterns, strength, and flexibility. The therapist carefully evaluates specific areas that may hinder performance or pose a risk for injury. Utilizing advanced biomechanical analysis, they identify any imbalances or restrictions that could affect athletic efficiency.
Throughout the session, the therapist provides real-time feedback, encouraging optimal form and function. Recovery techniques, such as myofascial release, stretching, and targeted rehabilitation exercises, are integrated to support muscle recovery and restore range of motion.

My story….
Owner Stephanie Drayton, MPT, VM1
As a Lancaster County native, I am thrilled to be back in the area, offering physical therapy, wellness, and sports performance services to our community. Growing up in my father's private PT practice, I had the privilege of witnessing his dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to delivering the highest quality care. From my early days as an aide to my recent role as a staff physical therapist, I gained invaluable experience that shaped my own approach to patient care.
I am a proud graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, a former high school and collegiate athlete, and now a wife, mother of three, and dedicated sports enthusiast. My time as a student-athlete at Gettysburg College with the women’s basketball program has been instrumental in helping me connect with and guide athletes throughout their recovery journeys.
After earning my Masters degree from UNC Chapel Hill, I spent the past 20 years in private practice orthopedics in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs continually learning and refining my clinical skills. The focus of my continuing education has been manual therapy and hands on techniques. My desire to provide a truly personalized and effective care experience led me to establish Envision Physical Therapy and Performance LLC.
At Envision, I focus on a one-on-one, holistic, and hands-on approach designed to restore function, alleviate pain, and promote a healthy mind-body connection. I believe that understanding this connection is key to achieving optimal recovery and performance.
"Envision" means to imagine a future possibility. My goal is to empower my patients to visualize and achieve their maximum potential, helping them regain confidence and thrive in their daily lives.
FAQs

The cash-based model is designed to put YOU in control of your healthcare, not the insurance companies and its actually designed to give you better care. Since I’m not tied to insurance rules, I can focus entirely on what you need — not what an insurance company decides is ‘medically necessary.’
This means we can spend more time together during each session, and I can tailor your treatment to your unique goals — whether that's recovering from an injury, improving mobility, or just feeling stronger and more confident in your body.
Another big plus is there are no surprise bills. You’ll know exactly what you're paying for upfront, and because we’re working efficiently with longer sessions, you’ll likely need fewer visits overall.
It’s really about giving you the best possible care — with fewer limits and more focus on your long-term wellness.

Yes! You will receive a superbill for each PT visit. Envision is not responsible for pre-authorizing or submitting claims, however you can submit the superbill to your insurance company and here’s how.
Submitting a superbill for reimbursement is a straightforward process, but it requires attention to detail to ensure your claim is processed efficiently. Here's a step-by-step guide:
Step 1: Obtain the Superbill
Your out-of-network provider should provide you with a detailed superbill after your visit. This document acts as an itemized invoice that outlines the services you received.
Step 2: Review the Superbill
The super bill will include:
Provider’s name, contact information, and NPI (National Provider Identifier)
Patient’s name and contact information
Date(s) of service

Yes, you can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay for out-of-network physical therapy as long as the treatment is considered a qualified medical expense by the IRS. Most physical therapy services that address a diagnosed medical condition or injury qualify.

At this time Envision is NOT in network with Medicare. However, Medicare beneficiaries can be seen for non medically necessary wellness and fitness visits. Stephanie would be happy to recommend local Medicare providers to assist you.

Physical therapist can offer traditional rehab for a diagnosis or medically necessary therapy for existing issues, post operative or painful conditions. Wellness sessions are geared for prevention and fitness.
Yes, physical therapists (PTs) can absolutely offer wellness visits as part of their services. While traditional PT typically focuses on injury recovery or post-surgical rehabilitation, wellness visits are designed for individuals who want to prevent injuries, improve movement, or enhance overall well-being.
These visits may include:
✅ Movement Assessments – Identifying imbalances, weaknesses, or mobility issues before they turn into bigger problems.
✅ Postural Training – Improving alignment to reduce strain on muscles and joints.
✅ Strength & Flexibility Programs – Tailored exercises to enhance performance and mobility.
✅ Body Mechanics Coaching – Helping clients move better during daily activities, work, or sports.
✅ Stress Management Techniques – Breathwork, mindfulness, or other strategies to reduce tension.Wellness visits are ideal for people who:
Want to stay active as they age
Are athletes looking to improve performance
Have a physically demanding job or lifestyle
Experience occasional aches or stiffness but aren’t “injured”
Since these visits are focused on proactive care rather than medical necessity, they often fall under wellness services rather than traditional PT treatment.
